A 2 bedroom, single level townhouse that needed a bit of an update to bring it to its full potential on a very tight budget.

 

The whole unit was painted throughout, old carpet replaced everywhere with timber look flooring. Lighting updated with downlights, modern oyster lights, and pendants.

 

The kitchen was converted to an open plan with a nice big breakfast bench. The addition of a smaller pantry next to the oven increased its footprint which made it feel quite spacious. Another pantry cupboard was added in the laundry so there was plenty of storage. 

 

Updated bathroom vanity, semi-frameless shower screen and open shelving in a contrasting but complementary design gives the bathroom a great modern yet practical feel.

 

All the front and back courtyards needed was a bit of a tidy-up, garden beds, plants and who doesn’t love fresh green lawn.

 

As a bonus, the extra long garage was divided into another living space – perfect for grandkids or an office.

 

A quick paint in modern colours, timber look flooring, new window furnishings and updated lighting lifted the unit from a dated 70s retro vibe to a fresh, modern apartment.
